Stakeholder Engagement

People and companies with an interest in a renewable energy project.

Stakeholder Engagement

As a marine or wind energy project is being permitted, individuals and organizations with an interest in the outcome should be involved the process. Locals may be able to provide valuable information about the project location that may lead to early change or mitigation before costs accumulate. People or organizations may be opposed to the project and provide reasons to regulators as to why the project should not be permitted. This balances the progression of the industry with the needs of the people for the optimal outcome.
