Save the date! The 5th Symposium of the Scottish Marine Energy Research Programme (ScotMER) will now take place from 31 January to 2 February 2023. This year the symposium will be held virtually, which means there will be a wider programme of talks and topics available to attend for free.
Led by the Scottish Government, the ScotMER programme is improving the scientific evidence to understand the environmental and socioeconomic implications of offshore renewable developments. The symposium, which is supported by the Marine Alliance for Science and Technology for Scotland (MASTS) as the delivery partner, will present recent research on seabirds, mammals, fish and socio-economics as well as provide an update on the Scottish Government’s commitment to a Blue Economy Action Plan and the work to support the Sectoral Marine Plan for Offshore Wind.
