Office français de la biodiversité (OFB)

The French Office for Biodiversity is a public establishment of the State , created by law 2019-773 of the July 24, 2019, which contributes, with regard to terrestrial, aquatic and marine environments, to the monitoring, preservation, management and restoration of biodiversity as well as to the balanced and sustainable management of water in coordination with the national policy to combat global warming. The Office results from the merger, at the 1 January 2020, the French Agency for Biodiversity (AFB) and the National Office for Hunting and Wildlife (ONCFS).
