The National Office of Hunting and Wildlife (ONCFS) is a public administrative institution in France responsible for wildlife and its habitats through studies and research, the policing of hunting and the environment, technical support to policy makers, planners and managers of rural areas, and the organization and issuing of hunting permits. This office was closed in 2020 and merged into the Office français de la biodiversité (OFB).
