In 1995, the Institute of Technical and Applied Physics GmbH became an independent limited liability company, previously an associate institute of the University of Oldenburg. It has had over 25 years business experience dealing with different physical problems, with a focus in the fields of technical acoustics and emmission control, as well as the investigation of underwater sound with the aim to protect marine life.
