In a large institution like UniTo, there is a need to share and pursue the same objectives, albeit in different ways depending on the characteristics of the structures in which the University is divided. The planning process guides the choices made, processes and activities, favoring a harmonious development of the institution and preserving the specificities of the different souls of the University.

The ultimate goal of planning is therefore to provide a guideline for all the University's activities , so that there is consistency and awareness at all levels. The tools used for this purpose are the planning documents that are produced by the Governance and the Administration.
