Welcome to United Arab Emirates University - the first comprehensive national university in the United Arab Emirates. The United Arab Emirates University was established in 1976 by a decision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, and aspires to be a comprehensive research university. The number of students enrolled at the university is currently approximately 13,000 Emirati and international students.
