Beijing Forestry University

A key national university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and technically affiliated to the State Forestry Administration (SFA), Beijing Forestry University (BFU) is consecutively listed among China’s prestigious universities that are entitled to enjoy financial supports from the country’s educational initiatives like the Innovation Platform for Prioritized Academic Disciplines and the Higher Education Reinvigoration Project 211. BFU is also among the 56 universities in China that have MOE-approved Graduate Schools. As another major milestone in its development, BFU has since 2011 been honored as a member of the League of Hi-tech & Science for Universities in Beijing and in 2012 initiated Systematic Innovation Center of Efficient Cultivation and Utilization of Forest Resources, the first forestry coordinative innovation center in China.
