Abstract
The 6th Symposium of the Scottish Marine Energy Research Programme (ScotMER), organized by Marine Scotland, presented ground-breaking research funded by the Scottish Government and our collaborators to improve the evidence base around how offshore renewable energy developments may affect our natural environment, and other users of the sea. This three day event covered topics including; Ornithology, Marine Mammals, Fish and Fisheries, Diadromous Fish, Benthic Ecology, Physical Process. Participatory workshops on Socioeconomics and National Marine Plan 2 were also held.
