Hard-bottom habitats are waterbody floor habitats comprised of rocks, reefs, and other hard substrate that can be unconsolidated and influenced by hydrodynamic changes (fields of gravel and/or cobble) or consolidated and not typically influenced by hydrodynamic changes.
