Radboud University
Radboud University is a public research university in Nijmegen, founded in 1923 as the Catholic University of Nijmegen and renamed in 2004 after Radbod of Utrecht. It has roughly 24,000 students across seven faculties — Arts, Law, Medical Sciences, Philosophy/Theology/Religious Studies, Science, Social Sciences, and Management. It's a member of the Guild of European Research-Intensive Universities, and is particularly known for research in cognitive neuroscience through the Donders Institute, along with molecular life sciences and high-field magnet work at the HFML-FELIX facility. The affiliated Radboud University Medical Center operates as a separate legal entity.
