About Me:

Juan M. Ramírez (M’87) received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from UANL-Mexico in 1992. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering, CINVESTAV, Guadalajara, Mexico, in 1999, where he is currently a full-time Professor. His areas of interest are smart grids, microgrids, and power electronics applications. Mr. Ramirez is a member of the Mexican Research System.
