AB - This report provides results of the first year of pre-construction fisheries monitoring via BRUV/eDNA surveys which began July 2023 in the Empire Wind Lease Area. The goals of the pre-construction surveys were to collect baseline information on the community composition and relative abundance of fish species for direct comparison with survey results from the construction and post-construction phases. The Empire Wind fisheries monitoring plan was conducted in accordance with the FBMP as well as guidance from NYSERDA and the Responsible Offshore Science Alliance (ROSA 2021).

Abstract
