South Gippsland Shire Council

The South Gippsland Shire Council is the local government authority for a 3,300-square-kilometer region in south-eastern Victoria, Australia, based roughly 100 kilometers southeast of Melbourne. Formed in 1994, it serves agricultural, dairy, and coastal communities–including Leongatha and Korumburra–and manages local infrastructure, planning, and community services.
