KNE (Kompetenzzentrum Naturschutz und Energiewende)

Kompetenzzentrum Naturschutz und Energiewende (KNE) supports the nature-friendly expansion of renewable energies and objectifies debates about the nature compatibility of the energy transition and help to avoid conflicts with nature, species and landscape protection. As an information center, KNE transfers new scientific findings on nature conservation to the players involved in the energy transition. As a counseling center, the KNE provides information about conflict prevention, conflict resolution and successful process design, and provides professional mediators on request. As a dialogue center, the KNE offers those involved in the energy transition a confidential exchange on certain issues in the sense of finding a common position. The KNE supports the public discourse on the environmentally compatible energy transition through a wide range of press and media work.
