4th Annual Marine Energy Technology Symposium (METS)

The 4th annual Marine Energy Technology Symposium (METS) will be held as part of Waterpower Week in Washington on April 25-27, 2016, at the Capital Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. In addition to METS, the simultaneously occurring events that make up Waterpower Week in Washington are the 2nd International Marine Renewable Energy Conference (IMREC) and the National Hydropower Association (NHA) Annual Conference.

METS provides a venue where technical experts can publish and present wave and water current energy research that helps accelerate the pace of technology development. In addition, holding METS in conjunction with IMREC and the NHA Annual Conference provides researchers with the invaluable opportunity to interact with public and private industry stakeholders.
