Singapore is located in Southeast Asia, covers 725 km2 (280 mile2) of land surface, and has a population of 5.9 million people (UN data, 2021). Singapore's primary energy production is 7 terawatt-hours (TWh), and energy supply per capita is 52 MWh (UN data, 2021). Oil is the largest source of energy consumed, accounting for 86% of the national total (Our World in Data, 2023). Singapore is home to 350 threatened species (UN data, 2021).

Singapore is currently a member of Ocean Energy Systems, participating in OES-Environmental. Singapore had 1 policy and 3 project highlights in the 2023 OES Annual Report.
