Abstract:

The impact of wind turbines on birds in a high-risk estuary site was investigated. The area near the Kreekrak sluices is situated near the North Sea coast in the province of Zeeland in the Netherlands; it borders the Oosterschelde, and is used intensively by waders and other water birds.
