The WestfalenWIND Group emerged in 2009 from the idea of being able to achieve more for the region together. Several experienced wind power operators such as Johannes Lackmann, Friedbert Agethen and Michael Flocke, who had previously developed their own community wind projects, joined forces. As a group it was possible to tackle larger projects on a regional level. The drive was and is: promoting renewable energies and using the income to strengthen our home region in a variety of ways.
