Universidad Austral de Chile

The Universidad Austral de Chile (UACh) is a private university founded in 1954 primarily in Valdivia with satellite campuses in Puerto Montt and Coyhaique. It is one of Chile's eight original traditional universities and operates as a non-profit, self-owned corporation under private law, receiving significant state funding.
