Instituto de Biotecnología y Desarrollo Azul (IBYDA)

The objective of the IBYDA Institute is research, teaching, dissemination, development and transfer of knowledge in the transdisciplinary field of Biotechnology and Blue Development.

IBYDA is organized into three units:

  1. Ecosystems and aquatic organisms
  2. Process Technology and Biotechnology
  3. Blue management and social projection

IBYDA is made up of 91 researchers belonging to 21 research groups , organized into 3 operational units , robustly interconnected, that propose transdisciplinary approaches within the institute.
