Fundacion Migres

The Migres Foundation is a private non-profit organization created in 2003 with the following basic objectives:
establish a forum where experts, institutions and groups for the study, preservation and dissemination of nature and, in particular, the migration of birds.
promote scientific investigation of the phenomenon of migration and study its relation to climate change, aimed at the preservation and enhancement of natural heritage.
promote activities aimed at sustainable development and the associated phenomenon of migration tourism, acting as a channel of participation of public and private capital in the management of biodiversity.
undertake initiatives and actions of applied research, providing solutions to environmental challenges for conversion into opportunities for sustainable economic and social development.
develop advanced training activities, volunteerism and environmental education.
promote the organization of conferences and workshops to scientifically analyze issues arising from migration.
