Upwelling is an oceanographic phenomenon involving the wind-driven movement of deeper, denser, usually nutrient-rich water toward the surface. Integral Consulting, Inc. recently released a report assessing the potential impact that offshore wind development may have on upwelling, which is especially timely given BOEM’s call last month to assess commercial interest in potential offshore wind leasing within two areas off the Oregon coast.
The Pacific Ocean Energy Trust (POET) is pleased to host this webinar to provide more details and clarifications about the findings of this report, presented by one of the report’s authors, Dr. Kaus Raghukumar.
