AB - This paper introduces the development status of Offshore Wind Farms (OWFs) in the Taiwan Strait. We review some typical conflict cases between OWFs and maritime shipping in the Strait, the reasons why and how these conflicts occur when new OWF are ready to be built close the principal fairway passage through the strait.
