Hatchet Ridge Wind

Hatchet Ridge is a 101 MW project located in Burney, California. The project consists of 44 2.3 MW Siemens turbines and commenced commercial operations in December 2010. The project sells 100% of its electricity generation, including environmental attributes, to PG&E under a 15-year power purchase agreement that expires in 2025. The Hatchet Ridge project is connected to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) transmission system. Hatchet Ridge is located along a gentle ridge top spanning an area of roughly 2,700 acres in Shasta County, CA on land owned by two private landowners, subject to long-term lease arrangements.
