Global Offshore Wind Alliance (GOWA)

The Global Offshore Wind Alliance (GOWA) is a multi-stakeholder alliance that unites governments, industry leaders, civil society, and international organisations to raise ambition and accelerate the deployment of offshore wind worldwide. GOWA was founded by the Government of Denmark, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), and the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC). GOWA is supported by the Ocean Resilience and Climate Alliance (ORCA), a philanthropic initiative that seeks to identify and fund oceanclimate solutions across mitigation, sequestration, adaptation, and resilience.
