Abstract:

Bat fatalities should he mitigated, and curtailing turbine operations is currently the only proven way to reduce kills. We suggest that a more meaningful approach is for stakeholders to collaborate on a site-by-site basis to implement a mitigation strategy that meets objectives for both industry and conservation.
