Abstract
Verdant Power, LLC (“Verdant Power ” or “Company”) applies to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) for a hydrokinetic pilot project license, under the guidance of FERC’s Licensing Hydrokinetic Pilot Projects whitepaper, for the Roosevelt Island Tidal Energy (RITE) Project, East Channel Pilot (“RITE East Channel Pilot” or “pilot project”) water power project, as described hereinafter. Previous FERC project number designation for the RITE Project includes FERC Preliminary Permit No. 12611.
