Northland Power

Northland is 60% owner of the EUR2.8 billion Gemini offshore wind project, and will play an active role throughout construction and operations. Located 85 km of the Netherlands coast, Gemini will generate 600MW, meeting the annual energy needs of one and a half million people and reducing the annual CO2 emissions of the Netherlands by 1.25 million tons. Once operational, it will be the largest offshore wind farm in the North Sea, and one of the largest in the world. Northland's project team reached financial close for Gemini in May 2014.
