The National Federation of Fishermen’s Organisations (NFFO) was founded in 1977 in response to emerging European fishing regulations and was incorporated in June 2008. It is headquartered in central York and serves as the primary representative body for commercial fishermen and fishing vessel owners in England and Wales, liaising with government bodies and European authorities on regulatory matters.
