Presented by REWI, this webinar examines the implementation of lead-free ammunition programs as a successful compensatory mitigation tool for eagle populations. Drawing on conservation theory, established North American case studies including New York State’s hunter incentive model, we will discuss critical components of developing durable, successful mitigation programs through active hunter engagement and reduction of social, technical, and economic barriers.
