The University of Aberdeen will host a one day event on Powering Offshore Oil and Gas with Marine Renewables on 18 September 2019. The conference will bridge the gap between renewable energy and the oil and gas industry. Speakers from both industries will be exploring how marine renewable energy sources such as wave power and floating wind turbines can power oil and gas activities including decommissioning and other offshore business. They will include representatives of companies involved in wave power, floating offshore in turbines, and oil and gas companies interested in renewable energy. The event is especially important for those offshore oriented companies and consultants wishing to take part in this cutting edge area.
