The Finnish-Swedish Transboundary River Commission invites to an international seminar with the theme Offshore windpower and migratory fish in Kemi, Finland 8-9 oct 2024. Registration is binding. No participation fee. Registration is open until 17th september.
The purpose is to create a forum of experts, authorities, stakeholders, project developers as well as other interested parties for an exchange of information about the state of knowledge regarding the impacts of offshore wind power on migratory fish. Some relevant questions the seminar hopefully can answer:
-What knowledge and experiences are there at the moment?
-What knowledge is missing?
-How can combined and cumulative impacts be assessed?
-How is relevant transboundary co-operation being done?
Timetable (finnish time)
8 oct - 10:00 - 17:00 (coffee will be served from 9:30 before opening of the seminar and lunch at 12-13)
Conference dinner buffet between 19:00 - 21:00
9 oct - 9:00 - 12: 00 (closing with a lunch together at 12 - 13)
