The Global Offshore Wind Summit-Japan (GOWS-J) is Japan's leading comprehensive Offshore Wind Power event, aiming to dramatically expand Offshore Wind Power in Japan and strengthen the country's industrial base.
The GOWS-J 2025 conference will be based on the concept of "The Current State of Offshore Wind Power in Japan," and will look back on the state of domestic offshore wind power generation since the public-private cooperation conference and highlight four key current issues. The subtitle "Is Japan's offshore wind power OK?" does not portray Japan's offshore wind power in a pessimistic light, but rather aims to discuss ambitious and advanced solutions to the challenges of ensuring steady progress in development.
In addition, practical discussions will be held, including an international comparison of Japan's offshore wind power policy (Intergovernmental Panel), a session on international cooperation and human resource development, and a floating body session for the future.
