About Me:

I have 8 years experiance in marine renewables research having completed my PhD at QUB on Wave fields around wave energy converter arrays in 2013. Since then I have worked primarily in the field of Marine Renewables undertaking physical and numerical modelling for studies including device development, wave climate modelling, resource assessment and physical environmental impact assessment. I have held research positions in the National Oceanography Centre, Liverpool and Aquamarine Power Ltd.  I joined QUB again in 2016 and I am currently working on a project on understating extreme nearshore wave events with a particular focus on the west coast of Ireland, in collaboration with University College Dublin and Williams College, Massachusetts.
