Abstract

Comprehensive management plays an important role in ensuring the normal operation of tide power stations. Effective measures are obtained through a thorough theoretical study and a long-term investigation, which include:

  1. Rational project arrangement
  2. Appropriate operation mode
  3. All sorts of essential engineering facilities
  4. Effective mechanical sand-proof methods
  5. Biological measures

All these above are the measures widely used in the tide power stations in China along the West Pacific coast and remarkable results have been achieved.
