Abstract
The scoping report has been prepared by BHWFL to support the development of a number of wave farm arrays within the Southern Area of the outlined AfL with a total capacity of up to 150 MW and requests a formal Scoping Opinion from Marine Scotland in consultation with the relevant statutory consultees. The Scoping Report represents the first stage of the EIA process and has been produced to facilitate the identification and assessment of the potential environmental impacts associated with this project. Accordingly, BHWFL wishes to seek feedback and advice on any particular environmentally or socially important areas within the southern portion of the AfL area. The issues identified within the scoping opinion from Marine Scotland will be utilised to inform the final site selection process for the wave arrays.
