U.S. Naval Research Laboratory

The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is one of the largest scientific institutions within the U.S. government. NRL-Stennis Space Center is a tenant activity at NASA's Stennis Space Center and is located in the southwest corner of Mississippi about 50 miles northeast of New Orleans, Louisiana, and 30 miles from the Mississippi Gulf Coast. NRL provides the advanced scientific capabilities required to bolster our country’s position of global naval leadership.
