Currently, the "Lower Danube" University in Galati has 14 faculties and prepares students for undergraduate, master's and doctoral studies in various fields (technical, humanistic, economic, health, artistic). "Lower Danube" University in Galaţi organizes the second cycle of two-year studies for the graduates of the first cycle. Within the "Lower Danube" University in Galaţi, doctoral studies are conducted in 4 Doctoral Schools, 19 doctoral fields, under coordination of 129 PhD supervisors.
