St. Eustatius National Parks Foundation (STENAPA)
St Eustatius National Parks Foundation (STENAPA) is responsible for 33 km2 of protected areas on the small island of St Eustatius (Statia) in the Dutch Caribbean. This area, that is bigger than the island itself, comprises of the National Marine park including 2 marine reserves and the terrestrial parks of the Quill/Boven National Park and the Miriam C Schmidt Botanical Garden. Their mission is the protection of these areas for future generations, the conservation of Statia's beautiful nature and education about the unique biodiversity of the island.
