The Office of Protected Resources is working to conserve, protect, and recover marine species and their habitats. Their work includes:

  • Endangered Species Conservation and Recovery
  • Marine Mammal Conservation and Management
  • Sea Turtle Conservation and Management 
  • Marine Life Health and Stranding Response 
  • Permitting and Authorizations 
  • Consultations with Federal Agencies under the ESA 
  • Funding and Grant Support
