The Israeli Wind Energy Association's CEO and executive chair of the WWEC2015, Gadi Hareli, encourages the government to aim at 2.5GW of wind energy for 2030, following the work of mapping and potential evaluation performed by the Israeli Meteorological Services (IMS) office.
