Power with People: Local tools for Just Wind Futures

This event will be an interactive gathering of policymakers, researchers, civil society, industry stakeholders, and regional actors, all coming together to reflect on a shared mission: Accelerating wind energy deployment in a just, inclusive, and effective manner.

Over the past three years, JustWind4All and Wind In My Backyard (WIMBY) have:

• Developed innovative tools and policy insights to support fair wind energy deployment.
• Emphasised stakeholder engagement and regional collaboration to ensure local voices are heard.
• Advanced stakeholder participation and energy justice as key pillars of the green transition.
   

A part of the event will be dedicated to actively engaging all participants in interactive demo sessions, giving you the opportunity to test the tools live. In addition, a panel session will feature experts from both projects alongside external speakers, offering diverse insights and sparking discussion on key topics in wind energy.

At the final event, JustWind4All and WIMBY will showcase their most impactful tools, methods, and findings in a dynamic and interactive setting. You’ll have the opportunity to:
