Brandon Capasso, Energy and Commercial Shipping Division Director – WRI: Brandon is the Director of both WRI's Energy and Commercial Shipping divisions, and has over 15 years experience providing consulting weather forecasts, decision support, weather routing, vessel performance analyses, climatology reports, and forensic weather reports for various clients worldwide. Additionally, Brandon designed and built WRI's in-house weather and ocean modeling system, which provides WRI's team of forecasters with the best technological tools possible to help protect life and property at sea. He is also an expert on climatology, and has prepared hundreds of climatological risk assessment reports for various locations around the globe.
Donald Bullen, Maritime Meteorologist – WRI: Donald Bullen is a Maritime Meteorologist with a keen interest in climate and advancing clean energy in order to combat climate change while ensuring that good paying jobs are available in the energy sector. This interest goes back to his senior thesis at his alma mater of SUNY Brockport. In this thesis, Mr. Bullen examined the rate of climate change in inland locations versus coastal and over the ocean locations over the entire world. Early in his career at WRI, Mr. Bullen took on a role in the Energy division in the company and helped to create the company's presentation for the 2020 AWEA poster (an analysis of the impact of significant waves on floating wind farms), as well as relaying industry news to other members of the division. Mr. Bullen was recently promoted to Project Manager of WRI's Energy Division and is eager to use his new role to advance clean energy for the world.
