Abstract
This report seeks to provide introduction to the ReDAPT project, to set the individual work-packages in context - thus highlighting the level of inter-dependency between project partners’ activities - and to provide a summary of the main findings of the University of Edinburgh’s field measurement campaign and subsequent data analysis. Section 2 provides an introduction to the field of site characterisation for tidal energy sites. Section 3 reports on the analysis conducted from site measurements for the EMEC Fall of Warness test site specifically. Section 4 discusses the integration and operation of sensor systems and outlines lessons-learned and recommendations for future site surveys.
