MET stands for Marine Energy Technologies and supports organizations in marine energy projects at any stage or size from strategy, partnering, and funding through to engineering and realization and public affairs.

Key achievements:

• Spin-out and sell-off of the wave rotor technology to maritime equipment supplier IHC-Merwede
• Permitting and financing the world-first grid-connected floating tidal power system for and on behalf of Bluewater Energy Services
• Permitting & financing of the world-first dam-integrated array of tidal stream turbines in the Eastern Scheldt Storm surge barrier for Tocardo
• Supporting the transition of start-up DMEC into an impactful accelerator and developing and managing collaborative R&D projects such as the INTERREG MEA, MET-Certified, and ENCORE projects
• Accelerating a wide range of offshore companies, early start-ups, and inventors to advance their innovations
• Advancing standardization and certification schemes of marine energy convertors under IEC and IECRE
• Track-record in transformation & delivery of collaborative innovation projects within time and budget.
