Batman University

Batman University (Turkish: Batman Üniversitesi) is a university located in Batman, Turkey. Originally, it was Batman Vocational School, which was established in 1975-1976 academic year under the Ministry of National Education, Directorate of Formal Higher Education, Formal Higher Education Department, was connected to Dicle University in 1982 with the Decree No. 41. In 2007, they took the name Batman University and left Dicle University and was directed by the Rector of İnönü University. Today there are 7 faculties, 3 institutes, 4 colleges, 5 vocational schools and 10 research centers in our university. It has the pride of providing high quality and contemporary education environment to approximately 15 thousand students with 395 academic staff and 294 administrative staff working in these units of our university.
