Software Demo Days: MBARI-WEC

The Portal and Repository for Information on Marine Renewable Energy (PRIMRE), in partnership with the U.S. Department of Energy's Water Power Technologies Office (WPTO), hosted an invite-only Software Demo Days series to showcase marine energy software and encourage cross-collaboration among software developers.

MBARI-WEC (Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute Wave Energy Converter) is a simulator that provides the same interface as the real hardware on the MBARI-WEC device, allowing projects the ability to develop and test their work independently, before deployment on the real system.
