Help shape a national Ocean Literacy Strategy for Scotland!
The Scottish Ocean Literacy Coalition, chaired by the Scottish Wildlife Trust, is in the process of developing a national Ocean Literacy Strategy for Scotland and they want to hear from you what should be included.
At this in person event at the Grassmarket Community Project in Edinburgh, you will have the exciting opportunity to shape how ocean literacy actions can be delivered on a national scale. You will learn more about what ocean literacy is, other strategies from around the world and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a Scottish strategy.
Whether you use Scotland's seas for work or for leisure, whether you live by the sea or inland, whether you're a young person or retired, this event offers everyone and anyone who cares about Scotland's seas and coasts the opportunity to play an exciting role in shaping this strategy and help deliver on one of the key outcomes of Scotlands blue economy vision.
The Scottish Ocean Literacy Coalition doesn't want travel costs to stop you from joining! They have a Travel Support Fund to help cover your travel (and accommodation costs if you’re coming from afar).
