GMREC organized by the Ocean Renewable Energy Coalition, will bring together researchers, technology developers, policymakers, NGOs, and industry representatives to discuss best management practices, financing instruments, and domestic and international regulatory developments regarding marine renewable energy.
The 2nd Annual Marine Energy Technology Symposium (METS) will be held on April 15-17 in Seattle, WA in conjunction with the Global Marine Renewable Energy Conference (GMREC).
METS provides a venue where technical experts can publish and present wave and water current energy research that helps accelerate the pace of technology development.
Holding METS in conjunction with GMREC provides researchers with the invaluable opportunity to interact with public and private industry stakeholders" (OES 2014).
